Description
Job DescriptionThe role requires a proactive leader who can manage multiple stakeholders, optimize resource allocation, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Operating in a dynamic, multinational environment, the PMO Manager will collaborate closely with business clusters including Digital, Logistics, Maritime & Shipping, Ports, and Economic Cities & Free Zones.
Responsibilities
Project Governance & Methodology
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve PMO policies, processes, and templates aligned with Agile and PMP methodologies.
- Ensure all projects comply with organizational governance, risk management, and reporting standards.
- Monitor project portfolio performance and provide regular status updates to senior management
Project Delivery Oversight
- Oversee the planning, execution, and closure of IT and business projects across multiple clusters.
- Facilitate project prioritization, resource allocation, and issue resolution to ensure successful delivery.
- Support project managers in applying best practices and removing impediments to progress.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Engage with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and foster collaboration across clusters and departments.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise project communications and executive reports.
Continuous Improvement & Capability Building
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance PMO effectiveness.
- Lead training and mentoring sessions for project teams on Agile, PMP, and project management best practices.
- Benchmark PMO performance against industry standards and recommend enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or engineering (e.g., Engineering, Information Technology).
- Significant experience in digital infrastructure and/or software development project management.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- IT Project Delivery (Advanced)
- Project Portfolio Management Tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Clarity) (Advanced)
- Risk & Issue Management (Advanced)
- Stakeholder Management (Advanced)
- Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in related fields (IT, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, Information security, etc.)

- Exceptional communication (written, visual, verbal)

- Written and spoken English is essential. Knowledge of Arabic will be an added advantage
