Your new role

The role involves engaging in activities to realize efficient IT business operations throughout the company and establish group management of IT. You will promote digitalization with generative AI and other technologies as a starting point, and plan, propose, and promote new operation models that combine people and AI.

This position is for a member of the IT Strategy Department's Digital Planning and Promotion Division who will plan and drive the company's future from both promoting internal DX using generative AI and other cutting-edge technologies and ensuring robust IT governance. You will work closely with senior management and have the opportunity to see your proposals influence the entire Group, including global operations.

What you'll need to succeed

Required Skills:

• Experience as a project manager or business analyst
• Basic knowledge and experience in IT development and operations (possession of Fundamental or Applied Information Technology Engineer certification is a plus) -
• Analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and proactive drive to translate requirements from related business units into concrete system designs and implementations
• Communication skills and leadership to guide project stakeholders toward goals
• Proficiency with MS Office products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) -
• Close to fluent business-level Japanese proficiency

Nice to have:

• Experience in IT project management or PMO
• Practical experience in the financial industry (securities, banking, asset management, leasing, etc.; engagements as a vendor are also included)
• Knowledge and experience of application development methodologies (experience on Agile development projects preferred)
• Experience in AI or machine-learning development projects (any phase such as data cleansing, model development, or MLOps)
• Knowledge and understanding of current technology trends, especially in the AI domain
• Experience in IT security or ITIL-related work
• Experience evaluating, implementing, or operating cloud services (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS)
• Experience formulating and operating IT governance (IT controls, risk management, compliance, etc.; experience with IT audits/certifications such as SOC2 or ISO27001 is highly welcome)
• Holders of certifications such as Information Security Support Specialist (IPA), CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, etc.
• Basic English skills
• Qualification as an internal control/responsible officer
