Strategic Analysis, Inc. is in search of a Junior SAP Security Specialist supports the security posture of Special Access Programs (SAPs) by assisting senior staff in various security disciplines. This role requires a foundational understanding of program protection, classification architectures, Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), SAP Program Security, Operations Security (OPSEC), Communications Security (COMSEC), and security principles governing classified activities.
Responsibilities: •Assist in the development and maintenance of security architectures for classified programs. •Support the research and development of program protection strategies. •Assist in the application and monitoring of appropriate security requirements (physical, information, personnel, industrial) for specific programs. •Draft sections of DD 254s and other security documentation under the guidance of senior staff. •Develop familiarity with Executive Order 13526, the NISPOM, DoD Information Security Manuals, and DoD SAP Security Manuals. •Support the creation, processing, coordination, and approval of physical security (SAP Facility and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and Automated Information Systems (AIS)) accreditations •Assist in the creation and review of security documentation (e.g., SCGs, PPPs, Test Security Plans, etc.). •Provide support for meetings and program reviews. •Assist with OPSEC analysis and support activities. •Perform administrative tasks such as preparing meeting minutes, assisting with visitor control, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: •BS with 3 to 5 years of related DoD or IC experience •Candidates must hold a TS/SCI with the willingness and ability to pass a CI polygraph; it is highly desirable for candidates to have taken and passed CI polygraph within the past three years •Foundational knowledge of SAP security principles. •Understanding of physical, personnel, and industrial security requirements within the SAP context. •Strong written and verbal communication skills. •Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Travel Requirements: Limited travel within the region.
