Solutions Architect- Active Secret Clearance Required

Staffing Pros, a division of VETS Inc., is recruiting for a full-time Solutions Architect located in Arlington, VA onsite 5 days a week.

As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a trusted technical leader responsible for designing and advancing enterprise security architectures that support complex Federal and national security environments.

Key responsibilities include:

• Define, design, and evolve enterprise security architectures and cybersecurity solutions.
• Partner with Application, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Data teams to implement secure, scalable, and resilient technologies.
• Establish and maintain security standards, policies, frameworks, and technical guidance across the enterprise.
• Lead security architecture reviews, risk assessments, compliance evaluations, and remediation efforts.
• Develop and maintain Security Risk Management Plans aligned to mission objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative security capabilities to enhance organizational security posture.
• Author technical recommendations, architecture documentation, and executive-level briefings for stakeholders.
• Support compliance with Federal cybersecurity frameworks and security regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline and a minimum of 14 years' of relevant experience.
  • An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of the bachelors degree requirement.
• Must either possess and maintain one of the following professional certifications:
  • CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional
  • Security+ CompTIA Security+
  • Net+ CompTIA Network+
  • A+ CompTIA A+
  • MCP Microsoft Certified Professional
  • MCSE Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
  • CCNA Cisco Certified Network Associate
  • MCSA Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a final Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to author white papers, technical recommendations, or security architecture documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to brief technical and executive audiences.
• Prior experience in Federal or DoD cybersecurity programs.
• CISM Certification
• CCSP Certification
